普考正額填志願 (前面有高普重榜的人) - 高考

想請問一下 我是普考正額上
普考排我前面的人 有9個人也有上高考
那如果這9個人也有去填普考的志願的話
表示會有9個缺先讓他們選走
之後如果他們都去高考報到
那9個普考正額缺就會給普考增額的來填志願。
那如果這9個人假設有5個不填普考志願
那表示我在填普考的正額志願就多了5個可選擇的空間
請問我這樣想是正確的嗎?
