Interview Questions:

1. You are quite different from many other applicants because it seems you know exactly what to do next. Tell me what you expect to learn from this MBA degree.

2. How did you narrow down the schools you were looking at? Is there anything you feel interested about UT Dallas?

3. Can you give me the name of a company you would like to join after graduation?

4. Tell me something fun about yourself that is not academic or listed in your resume.

5. Any questions for me?

雖說是 30 分鐘，
但前面光是處理 Skype 聲音品質不佳的問題，
再加上改用電話面試就折騰了將近十分鐘…

UT Dallas 同樣也採非 blind interview，
所以 CV 和 essay 面試官都仔細閱讀過。
與其說是個正式面試，
倒還不如說是他們只想跟面試者聊個天、從談吐來確認履歷沒有灌水灌得太兇。
因此與其他多數學校相比，
這間的面試問題明顯精簡許多。

Q&A 時間 Lisa 也很熱情地介紹 UT Dallas，
除了我原先就知道德州和達拉斯的經濟可發展性之外，
她分享了兩個關於學校有趣的優勢，
在這邊跟大家分享：

1. 大多數名校都是先有大學部才依序有碩博班，
但 UT Dallas 自 1969 創校開始只有博士班，
然後才有碩士班，
直到大約 15 年前才開始設立大學部。
因此 UT Dallas 是相當重視研究的一所學校。

2. UT Dallas 校園充斥著雀躍的氛圍，
每到開學季學生總是表現出迫不及待想要來到這裡的樣子。
她分析最主要的原因是 UT Dallas 是排名靠前的公立學校，
適合經濟條件不是那麼好的優秀學生來就讀，
許多報到的學生都是家族裡第一個讀大學或讀博士班的孩子，
因此對整個家庭來說都是一件大事。
