It is with great pleasure and anticipation that we announce a new
program in the actuarial science major. We are in the final stage of
receiving university approval for a capstone program in actuarial science.
This program is targeted to student who already earned a bachelor's degree
and are interested in pursuing a career in actuarial science........
It will culminate in a capstone certificate instead of a degree and will
replace the current Master's degree in the actuarial science program.Form
working in conjunction with university and Wisconsin School of Business,
we are confident thatthis new program will be more targeted effort at
preparing students for their actuarial exams and will attract students
post-bachelor's who are specifically seeking careers as actuaries.
