p.72 第55題
Which of the following statements provides the best explanation for why
the oxidation of organic compounds by O2 yields so much energy?
選項中A B 比較有可能
(A) The oxygen atom has a higher affinity for electrons than the carbon atom.
(B) The reaction has a very negative free energy change
答案是 A 因為氧的吸引使ETC可以完成並釋出大量ATP 沒錯
不過B 似乎也沒錯? 因為負的自由能是釋能反應
p.76 第78題
Which part of the cellular catabolism of glucose requires O2 and produce CO2?
答案是 TCA cycle 跟 ETC
不過ETC 應該沒有產生CO2吧?!

如題....ETC是需氧 產生水
但是.... TCA是丟acetyl-CoA 產生 CO2 那答案呼之欲出了吧??
答案是 都要選阿-o-

amino acid for protein synthesis , which of the following will result?
(A)Less ATP will be produced by the cell
(B)Less CO2 will be produced by the cell

我想問老師上課不是說過protein 去胺後進入 細胞呼吸是不可逆的嗎?(還是我記錯啦?)
另外C選項是說 oxaloacetate會另外被其他路徑合成嗎? 是的話是什麼呢?

我用生化的角度來說..... OAA可以合成得的東西太多....例如糖質新生會用到外
在糖尿病病人或飢餓的人 OAA會被拿去合成 ketone body而來提供能量
轉胺後 雖然不可逆 但是依據情況 TCA其他的中間物還是可以拿去合成AA的
以上 有錯請鞭打我 虛心受教嚕
