申請學校數目 - 工管

Hello my friend. Jon Frank here at your service. We like to recommend that
applicants apply to seven schools—if not more. But with a breakdown of
seven schools, you could do 2 stretch, 2 safe, and 3 in range. Always try to
keep that ratio, no matter how many schools you apply to. Now. Remember, if
you can do 5 apps, you can do 7. If you can do 7, you can do 9. Why?
Because they get SO much easier over time! You will have almost ALL your
essays done by the time you get through your fifth application. The extra
apps will go SO much more quickly—so shoot for 7, and if you wanna do more
you CAN. In terms of round strategy, I would again try to keep the ratio the
same. Some safe, some stretch, and some in range. Donˆt make the mistake
of applying ONLY to VERY competitive programs in R1. That could be a recipe
for disaster…
