: not 是副詞 修飾 形容詞，(形容詞再修飾 名詞)

: = There is not a bird in the tree. = 樹上沒有一隻鳥


回答in the tree 跟on the tree的不同

　在…樹上　on the tree (樹葉、果實…等）原本就生長在樹上
　在…樹上　in the tree (鳥巢、動物…等）不是樹本身長出來的東西
　
　所以鳥不是樹長出來的，一定要用in the tree
