請問答案為什麼是a呢？

文法：介系詞under+V.+N.倒裝，這沒問題！

但小女孩被【放置】在樹下？
這樣翻譯又覺得很怪!?
但lain若當【躺下】的p.p
（c)和(d)沒有have也不對吧?
請教各位大大~

lie-lay-lain 躺下(人，動物);被平放(東西)
lie-lied-lied 說謊
lay-laid-laid 舖放，放置，產卵

只是我這查到lay也有躺下的意思，過去式為laid，所以選a
就說的過去，是這樣嗎？

首先，同意用被動有點奇怪，覺得答案應改成Under a tree
laid a little girl reading a fairytale story.。但因
為沒有這個選項，使用刪去法，CD選項都先刪掉，因爲a li
ttle girl第三人稱應該用單數過去式was。第三，lay and
lie都可以翻成躺，只是lay及物動詞，因為題目有接a lit
tle girl，所以用lay的過去式分詞laid～（應該是這樣
啦><)

Lie跟laid的差別就記得 lie down(主動躺下）be laid do
wn （被放下）

我覺得大家都聚焦在三態，但這題好像是在考用法？lie
和 lay皆正確，但是前者vi後者vt，所以後者需有受
詞，若沒受詞就改被動即可，雖然是個很不自然的用法.

B,C選項表複數先排除; 為了配合主詞a little girl所以動
詞一定用單數was,整句描述的是書被閱讀不是人在讀書，別被
reading給騙了，兩個句子合併後倒裝，強調書被放在樹下，
女孩正在閱讀; 受詞是a fairytale book ,所以Be+P.P表被
動，不是完成式，書是被放在樹下，人不會被躺在樹下，所以
過去分詞用laid而不是用lain。
