REQUIRED:


(1). If the treasury stock approach is used for mutual holdings:
a. Calculate the total consolidated net income for Alice Corporation and its
subsidiaries, Beverly and Carol.
b. Compute the noncontrolling interest share of 2011.
c. Prepare all the necessary journal entries for Carol during 2011.
d. Prepare all the necessary journal entries for Beverly during 2011.
e. Prepare all the necessary journal entries for Alice during 2011.
f. Prepare working paper entries to consolidate the financial statements of
Alice Corporation and its subsidiaries, Beverly and Carol of 2011.

(2). If the conventional approach is used for mutual holdings, please repeat
