Hello, my name is Kate,my Chinese name is Huang,Yu-Rou and I’m from Taiwan Asia university.
I am now in the last year of university majoring health and nutrition biotechnology. During college, I was really into wine making. I even managed to make fruit beer by myself. I’ve always had great interest in food processing, especially food microbiology, it’s definitely my favorite subject.
In childhood, I saw my grandmother making wine, I was amazed, and very interested in how could be made it. In my studying process, I learned the cuisine cookery and hotel management, but I found that this is not what I want, until I learned from the food science's microbiology to the principle of wine, and I believed it was what I wanted.
I consider myself a fast learner. I even join a research team operation experiment in my second year, and at last summer, I spent two months to complete the professor's
designated a book with three junior schoolmates that had 25 recipes.

I am now in the last year of school majoring in Health and Nutrition biotechnology. I have tried to make wine recently in college. I also managed to make fruit beer by myself. I’ve always had great interest in food processing, especially in the field of food microbiology, it’s definitely my favorite subject.
When I was young, I saw my grandmother make wine, I was curious and excited by how it was made. In the past few school years, some of my majors included cuisine and hotel management, but I now find that this is not what I want to pursue in my career, because when I learned that the food microbiology is the principle of wine, which made me believe that food microbiology is what I want to pursue in my career.
I think I am a fast learner and can work as an effective team member. I joined a research team focusing on experimenting when I was a sophomore. And at last summer, I spent two months to complete the professor's assignment with three junior schoolmates, which contained 25 recipes and our team got our assignment done well.
