英文文法-連接詞&特殊構句請益2013/1/26 - 考試

一些帶有"內容"的名詞都可以這樣用
例如the idea that/ the suggestion that/ the proposal that/ the reason that

: 通常用過去式應該會用attended 不會用did attend吧
How many people疑問詞直接當主詞
所以後面的句子是不用到裝的
就如同以下幾個句子
Who came here yesterday?
What brings you here?

: I attended the meeting last night.
: I did attend the meeting last night.

: : 答案:(B),為何不可選(C)? => It is/was ~ that~ 強調語句嗎?

有興趣的人可以試試看如果你用It句子要怎麼還原
就會發現無法還原成沒有強調的句子
因為你是沒辦法說Everyone praised him his diligence.
這種句型是連綴動詞的句型但praise並不是這樣的動詞

因此若一定要用It的強調句
就必須要改成下面幾句的樣子
It was him that everyone praised.
-> Everyone praised him.
It was for his diligence that everyone praised him.
-> Everyone praised him for his diligence.


至於題目所用的such+名詞+that+子句
則是另一種英文常用但大家比較陌生的強調句型
強調的是該'名詞'帶來了後面的'子句'所描述結果
這時候後面的子句會是個完整的子句
就像題目中所寫的這樣
