公司要求更改離職日 - 離職

最近找到新工作,由於在原公司已經工作滿三年,在8/1提離職時預留了30天的交接期,把離職日壓在9/2星期五
也因為公司的離職流程文件上有寫到一條「若將離職員工計劃在離職日前將未休假期休完,則應於休假前將離職程序完成&不再進公司」
所以我的理解是假可以留到最後一起放,提離職後也在休假計畫表寫明會在8/24最後一次進公司,接著在8/25-9/2把特休請完
這樣的休假計畫表送出後將近兩三個禮拜,也都沒有得到任何回饋
結果昨天收到HR的訊息,希望我可以把離職日改到8/24,原因是他們覺得我不應該用這種方式請假
依照他們的說法,沒用完的假換錢會比本來9/2離職少四天薪資,反正大概就是基於省錢
而且昨天才通知,就算我現在開始全力請特休,也來不及在8/24以前用完
另外,比起四天薪資,我更擔心的是之前和新公司押上工日的時候有提到9/2才會離職,打算先休息一週,再於9/12上工
如果我同意改在8/24離職,離職證明上的離職日期可能會造成新公司誤會我為了多休息而謊報離職日
想請問一般這種把假全部塞到最後一起放的做法真的理虧嗎?
還有我應該主動跟新公司解釋離職日有差異的原因,以避免一開始就有誤會嗎?
或是根本沒人在意,不必主動解釋?
