僱主要求放棄資遣費 - 離職

是這樣的,家人最近被所任職的公司資遣了,
該公司僱主上午通知資遣並要求立刻打包走人,
當然該公司僱主一開始便表明會依法提供資遣費,
目前家人已離開公司,還未收到非自願離職書(公司說日後會提供),
但隔日該公司僱主竟傳訊息給家人稱家人與廠商串通提高公司成本並以此理由要求放棄資遣費
其實事實是公司接到顧客要求提早交貨,但廠商有固定出貨流程,若要提早就需負擔急件費
(p.s家人曾經在供貨廠商任職,與廠商業務是有交情的)
該廠商業務原表示可以以人情關係趕貨不需負擔急件費用,
但家人認為公事必須公辦,不想以私人交情來處理,便告知廠商業務該加急件費就加。
最後公司僱主便打算以此為證據來要求家人放棄資遣費,否則交由律師處理。
想請問的問題是:
僱主真的可以以此提告嗎?家人這樣做法真的如僱主所說違反法律?
資遣費是可以因為這項原因而被刪除的嗎?
家人應如何尋求協助?
目前家人正整理思緒,並找時間到相關主管機關諮詢。
